This doctoral project challenges the boundaries of the field of architectural research by engaging with the everyday life of the building, as well as the life carrying on within it. A contextualized research like the one proposed here allows to understand better the thermal problems as they are experienced in the domestic realm. Consequently, it aims to reveal appropriate levers for bringing realistic solutions to problems related to the climate through a new pragmatic approach towards climatic practices.
